The Canadian National Backgammon Federation® is the official clearing house for Canada’s Top Players. Our Members compete for titles and promotional considerations. Play with your fellow Canadians online and in-person. It’s free to apply and we select individuals based on various criteria.
Our History and Objectives
A nationally incorporated non-profit, the CBF® is dedicated to promoting the game of Backgammon in Canada. Our leadership consists of an executive board as well as provincial volunteers who work year-round to plan all member events. They are all jointly responsible for the creation, administration, maintenance and propagation of our Canadian Chapters on a Regional and National basis. Club Officials vet all applicants, publish our quarterly newsletter and provide instruction to members and administer both live and online weekly competitions. In a club or online, the Federation® allows you to play all year round and share your passion with a growing community of players.
As the definitive authority on Backgammon in this country, we keep track of all Member statistics and crown the National City and Regional Backgammon Champions.
